We have a large-breed dog who would typically be rather expensive to board, but at Barkeley Springs we have found a personable, affordable alternative. The owners are extremely friendly and have always remembered our dog since the first day we boarded him. They have both climate controlled and outdoor kennels, which suits us well because our dog does not always require an indoor facility like some smaller or short-haired animals might.
Overall, we've been very, very happy with the service and personal attention our dog has received as well as the peace of mind knowing that he's in a family-run environment (the owners operate the kennel on their own property). He always seems very happy to be there and that's the best thing of all.
