My husband and I tried this local restaurant after receiving a gift certificate from a friend. This was quite an enjoyable dining experience. The place was packed! And we soon realized why. The combination of a beautiful stone gas fireplace to spice up the atmosphere for the evening, to a delicious meal beginning with an appetizer of cream of crab soup, then continuing with the main course of New York Strip Steak (cooked exactly as requested), the evening was a hit! Even the waitress was very professional. She allowed us some privacy to converse with one another, yet returned in a timely manner to ask if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone dining in Berekeley Springs. You may want to call for reservations.
