We loved our stay and Manor Inn last October. I meant to write a review as soon as I got home but - well, you know. Anyway, Ellen and Wesley have done a wonderful job of creating a very appealing B & B with lovely furnishings and a wonderful breakfast. You won't be disappointed if you choose this charming place for a stay.

Ellen and Wesley are the perfect hosts: extremely hospitable and friendly, knowledgeable about the the town, and excellent chefs. I had a delightful 2-night stay at The Manor Inn, and am so happy to have experienced this beautiful house. The 12-foot ceilings and elegant decor provide a lovely ambiance, which is also cozy and welcoming with a constant fire lit in the parlor and a pot of tea available at any hour. It was a wonderful treat to stay at The Manor Inn, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Berkeley Springs, whether for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat away from busy city life.

Ellen and Wesley have made the Manor Inn a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. I ended up being snowed in this weekend and there was no place I would have rather been. Ellen and Wesley were great hosts and an absolute joy to be snowed in with. Ellen showed off her superb hosts skills by having plenty of wonderful food to pull out of her reserves. Berkeley Springs truly has a hidden treasure. So … visit Berkeley Springs for the spas, hiking, kayaking, antiquing, or just a simple retreat at the Inn itself. The Manor Inn is a great retreat to treasure! I left feeling incredibly well rested and renewed! This is an Inn to be visited over and over again.

This was our first experience at a B&B and it far exceeded our expectations. Everything was wonderful from the immaculate rooms, the delicious gourmet breakfasts, and the quiet, peaceful
atmosphere. But most of all the innkeepers, Ellen and Wesley, made us feel right at home with their warmth, friendliness and gracious hospitality. We will definitely come back!

Although I was only able to stay for one night, the Manor Inn exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment you walk through the door you become one of the family. The beds are very comfortable, the front porch provides a great place to sit and relax, and the food is DELICIOUS. I will definitely be making a return trip in the near future.

Had a lovely stay on June 26th for our 10th anniversary. So relaxing. Ellen and Wesley really made us feel at home. The breakfast rivaled Lot 12's dinner from the evening before. Incredible food & fresh fruit. Treated like royalty. Rooms comfortable, spacious & beautifully decorated. Recommend to anyone needing r & r and tlc. Beautiful garden. Travel for this one if needed, but don't miss it. One regret, not having more time to spend on our growing friendship with Ellen and Wesley. Thanks a million guys! Hope to see you soon.

The Manor Inn was a wonderful place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Berkeley Springs. My husband and I have stayed at quite a few B and B's and this one is one of the best we have ever stayed at. Ellen and Wesley are very hospitable and the home is comfortable, inviting and CLEAN!

Staying at the Manor Inn was one of the highlights of our visit to Berkeley Springs. Unlike some of our other stays at B&Bs;, my husband and I felt totally comfortable playing games in the living room, mingling with other guests, and visiting with the innkeepers, Ellen and Wesley. It was a delightful visit all around. I would recommend this B&B to all my friends, and we hope we can return again in warm weather.

Berkeley Springs/Bath is a town of many charms: the bathhouse in the center of town and the friendly, non-nonsense massage you can buy there; the old-fashioed Star movie theater and its awesome popcorn; the hills rising up on either side of the main drag; and the Lewises who run the Manor Inn.
Ellen and Wesley feel like family just minutes after you shake hands for the first time, and their lovely home is filled with thoughtful touches for guests, from a Jacuzzi tub to the orchids Ellen placed in my room. Ellen, whose family has been in the hospitality business for decades, also cooks delicious and healthy breakfasts. The Manor Inn is a sweet retreat for harried Washingtonians, and Berkeley Springs is an ideal weekend getaway.
