This is the place to go if you are looking to take something old and give it a new home. The owners think very creatively about how they can take a piece-often one that originally had a different purpose- and how it can fill your needs. They are very knowledgable about their stock- which is always changing- so it is worthwhile to simply stop by when you are in town, even if there isn't something specific you are looking for.

Whether you are looking to buy, or just looking, this is definitely the place to go. Rick and Mary, (the owners) are wonderful people. They have a beautiful shop with many good quality items. I stopped by just to look around. If you are in the mood to browse, you will surely enjoy browsing through the many rooms of furniture and accessories. You will be surprised at the quality of the "old" items. They are just beautiful. I was not pressured by any means, and I thoroughly enjoyed strolling through this wonderful old house. As it turned out, I purchased a few items and they offered FREE delivery at my convenience. They will also store the items for you if you're not quite ready to bring it home. You will find that the prices are very fair and competitive. Also, if you have something in mind that you are trying to find, you must let them know. They will search for what you're looking for! I am looking for a couple of pieces, and they keep in close contact with me throughout their search. You won't find this kind of customer service in many other establishments these days. I truly can't say enough positive things about my experience with Kingfish's Antiques, or it's wonderful owners. Please stop by and just enjoy looking through their shop. I promise you, it will bring back memories, you will enjoy the experience, and I wouldn't be surprised if you found something you just couldn't live without. Thank you Rick and Mary!

I love Kingfish's. Every year I find just the right gifts for my friends who have everything or myself. The house is beautifully restored with a clean restroom for all patrons. It is a must when you are in Hedgesville and you have a little time to browse.

Stepping into Kingfish's Antiques is time-traveling at its best, transporting visitors to a world when homes were more than houses, when furniture was solid, stable and lovingly craftted, and when proprietors were courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and low-key. Whether you're merely in search of a calming atmosphere or that special occasional piece, or a roomful of well-wrought furniture that will bring your home balance and peace, you can't surpass Kingfish's.

I love this store and the people who run it. They and the atmosphere they have created are so warm and inviting. They have a great eye for tasteful pieces for any size home or room, and just browsing makes you want to redecorate an entire space.

From the moment you walk in the front door, time seems to rewind by the decades. The beautifully restored log home is a perfect setting for some of the finest antique items I have seen in a long time. Mary and Rick treat you like family and never pester folks to buy. They enjoy the company and enjoy sharing their many items with all who enter their shop. A very relaxing atmosphere!

If you like history, come to see the beautiful restoration work the owners have done on this house. My sister and I got a big kick out of browsing antiques that we recognized - they looked like some from my grandmother's farm in Bedford (1950's).

Well worth a visit. A large collection of constantly changing unique items. Great values and friendly service. The "old house" with portions that still have the chinked logs on the inside is worth a visit just to see.
