Was there this weekend for Mercedes giveaway. It's obivious they need these drawings just to get people in the place. Was there for 8 hours, did not see one jackpot hit (this is when the place is packed with folks just throwing CASH in machines. Besides poor
payouts, service is absolutly horrible.
No ice at complimentry soda, went to change a $100 bill at machine and got a
ticket which I needed to stand in line for 35 minuites to get my cash.
Management does not see the need to provide customer service. To this I say
show them that customer service is the
basis of any sucessfull company.
BOYCOTT CTRS!

To whom it may concern; The following is the reason I will not be visiting Charlestown Slots ever again . To give you a brief history I have been attending Charlestown Slots since its conception, I spend an average of $500 each time I visit. I would like to refer you to an incident that occurred on 03/14 2009, We arrived at 10 am. for a day at the slots. Around 2 pm my wife and I went to the first floor concessions at the Italian eatery. I ordered a slice of pizza and a steak Pinnini sandwich. After responding to the dining table, I went to bite the sandwich and the bottom bread was so hard I could not bite into it. I took it back to the counter and showed it to the clerk who stated there was nothing wrong with the sandwich. Rather than argue I went over to the Oriental concession and got something to eat. After finishing my meal I spoke to the person who claimed to be the manager about my incident, his name was "JOSH", a large unshaven man, his answer was the same, that's how the sandwich is made. I was never offered a fresh sandwich or my money back. No offer was made. I went to a service desk and a gaming manager, Miss Linda Mills spoke with me and the manager "JOSH" and a $10 certificate was issued for later use at the food stand. At this point the incident was behind me; however, around 8 pm we decided to eat again. This time at the US FOOD after ordering our meal the coupon was presented for payment; however, the female clerk who took it back to the manager for verification, "JOSH" (same as previous), he denied the certificate. I paid for that meal and after eating it I went to speak to someone else and another gaming supervisor came and we took the coupon to the food court and "JOSH" and a female manager were at a table. The female manager apologized and that was that. They seemed to blame it on the poor clerk that she was a foreign exchange student. "JOSH" kept smiling as I walked away. It became immediately apparent that "Josh" your food manager was both incompetent and unprofessional which further exacerbated a situation which could have been easily resolved. I still have the coupon and will mail it back to business office with thanks to the gaming managers. In all my life I have never been so frustrated over a stupid sandwich. My next sandwich will be in Delaware or New Jersey. Thanks but no thanks. P.J.Boone Sr.
