I finally understand the enormity of being Mom. Yes, it’s taken me a long long time and I often wonder if any of you have had a similar experience ‘coming to.’ I’m sure for those who have kids of their own, somewhere in the life of being a parent one realizes how difficult and unrewarding the Mom job can be. Once again spring is arriving. Very soon, all the kids will be out for opening day at the ballpark and though there is a chill in the air I think winter is just about over. Gail will certainly welcome spring to her Hedgesville home with a flourish of vibrant yellow. “SWEET – a suite for me and my family. They have their bed. I have mine.” Or so I think our mixed breed mutt Elliott thinks during his stay in our pop – up camper.
