1) Local Democrats Celebrate Victory by George Hopkins Added: Dec 9th 2008, 10:08
Martinsburg, WV - Habanero Mexican Grill was abuzz Monday night (December 7, 2008) as many members of the Berkeley County Democratic Association came together to break bread and celebrate their impressive successes in the 2008 local and national elections.

I arrived at the grill at 6:20 PM to a steady stream of democrats (Habanero was closed to the public) young and old alike who... More about: Local Democrats Celebrate Victory

Most of us have probably already decided who we will vote for when we enter our respective polling place tomorrow. (Heck, by the number of people that I've seen early voting, most of us have probably already voted!)

If you haven't made up your mind then here are some resources to help you decide.

On the eve of Election Day 2008 I'm going to posit an idea that may sound crazy but if you hear me out hopefully you'll be convinced that it has some merit.

The idea… Vote for Santa Claus.

Still here? Haven't clicked away? Waiting for the punchline? There isn't one. Santa Claus is a legitimate write-in candidate in West Virginia in the 2008 election.

You may be wondering what makes a write-in candidate legitimate in... More about: Why voting for Santa Claus may not be as crazy as it sounds

This was in my morning e-mail...did you get it too?

Dear Bill,

Over the course of the last 16 months, I have been privileged and touched to witness the incredible dedication and sacrifice of so many people working for our campaign. Every minute you put into helping us win, every dollar you gave to keep up the fight meant more to me than... More about: I guess it's official...

6) WVL-PAC Endorsed Pro-Life Candidates by Jim Fritz Added: May 12th 2008, 07:40
Here are the West Virginian's for Life (WVFL) endorsements, for your consideration. There are others not on this list that are also Pro-Life and we are not implying by there absence here that they are pro-abortion. The WVFL PAC feels the candidates they have listed need to be supported as they are more electable.

WVFL also asks you not to vote for Margaret Workman of Bob Bastress as they both favor taxpayer funded abortions in WV.

Both sides were presented with the questions the night before at the same time, to be fair and equal. Walter Duke with the House of Delegates was the mediator. The Berkeley County Commission or any representatives did not show up to debate for the pro-zoning... More about: Zoning "Debate" Held
