The Potomac Valley Audubon Society is hosting the third annual Potomac Arts Festival November 2-4, 2007.

This “Celebration of Nature and the Arts” will be held on the beautiful campus of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s National Conservation and Training Center (NCTC). The juried arts festival will feature works by 43 talented artists. Art will be available for purchase.

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the fire at the Morgan County Courthouse in Berkeley Springs, WV.

The fire, which began around 4:30 AM on 8/8/06, ultimately led to the complete demolition of the building. Currently, as you can see in the photo galleries below, the Morgan County Courthouse lot is a parking lot and the offices have been moved to portable buildings.

Hagerstown, MD - Saturday, August 4, 2007 was the Martinsburg Community Day at the Hagerstown Suns. inthepanhandle.com was on hand as a sponsor and it was an enjoyable time for all involved.

The day started with a well-attended autograph session with the players and included a number of promotions, giveaways, games and everyone left with some extra dough (literally, they were giving out loaves of bread as you left the stadium).

Today saw the addition of two businesses to the downtown Martinsburg marketplace.
