MARTINSBURG, WV — Eleven outstanding art students from Shepherd University have been selected to exhibit their work at The Arts Centre for one day only – Saturday, April 5. The special exhibit is part of downtown Martinsburg’s “First Saturdays” event, which kicks off its second year on April 5. “First Saurdays” are organized by Main Street Martinsburg and the Heritage Craft Center of the Eastern Panhandle, in order to create a draw for visitors and residents to downtown Martinsburg.

Shepherdstown, WV -- Want to learn Spanish? Or brush up on rusty skills? A 10 week session will be offered Tuesday evenings, 6:30-7:30 pm, in Shepherdstown. The class, taught by Sara Maxwell Blint, a native of Bogota, Colombia, will be a practical approach to learning the Spanish language, focusing on the fundamentals of conversation. The cost is $75.
