MARTINSBURG, WV — The Arts Centre seeks artists for the second annual regional Nancy Rodig Regional Exhibit. The exhibit will be on view at The Arts Centre from September 12-October 25, 2008. Deadline for applications is July 31.
Jurors for this year’s exhibit are Diane Roman, digital artist and graphic design teacher at Blue Ridge CTC ; and Mary Cook, director of the Target Gallery at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA.

All artists who live or work within 60 miles of Martinsburg, WV are eligible to apply. Application is open to all artists working in fine art, such as painting, printmaking, photography, works on paper, sculpture, and other media to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Entries in film, video, and computer projects will be accepted, however, the artist must provide means for exhibiting their work at The Arts Centre (projector, monitor, laptop comuter, etc.).

The Arts Centre encourages artists working in both traditonal and contemporary forms to apply. We are seeking new work from artists in the Eastern Panhandle and the surrounding region.

The entry fee is $15 per artist.

This exhibit is made possible by a donation from the Evan’s Run Art Association. The exhibit has been named in honor of Nancy Rodig, a local art supporter and founder of the Evan’s Run Art Association.
