inthepanhandle.com turns one year old today!

While the conception and development of the site started in 2005, we officially launched inthepanhandle.com on April 1, 2006. When the site first launched, it was strictly a business directory - with roughly 500 businesses.

Since that time we have added a number of features to make the site appeal to a broader audience of users. Features that we've added include; local and national news, sports news, financial news, movie listings, free classifieds, weather, coupons, video advertisements, a video of the day, an event calendar, coupons, and a blog.
