Over the course of the past 3 months, we've worked hard to add value to the advertising packages available on inthepanhandle.com by adding features which benefit not only the businesses that take advantage of them but also the eastern panhandle community in general.

Today, we have decided to add some previously Premium Package only features to the Free, Basic and Advanced advertising packages. We think that by allowing all businesses to take advantage of these features, on a limited basis, we are increasing the value of the site to not only the end user but each business.

The three features are Description, Coupons and Jobs.

Description: The description field had previously not been open to Free businesses. We've decided to give free business listings a 100 character description to help provide potential customers with information about what your business is and does. We think this will go a long way toward creating a more user-friendly site and a more well-informed community.

Coupons: Coupons are an underutilized feature. Previously, only Premium advertisers were able to post a coupon. Now, for a limited time, we have given each advertising package the ability to post one coupon (Premium Advertisers get 5). This can be a pre-made coupon that you have on file, or you can use our interactive coupon creation tool to create a coupon online.

Jobs: Jobs are a new feature that we have recently added - but not yet publicized (as we are still working on (a)creating a page just for all of the jobs listed and (b)making the jobs searchable). To help us get an extensive listing of jobs, we have allowed each business to list five jobs that are available (Premium advertisers get 50).
